Fun Stuff: Tales Of Photoshoot

Ever since I received copies of Tales of Symphonia and its sequel Dawn of the New World for my birthday one year, I've been a huge fan of the amazing Tales of video game titles from Bandai Namco. Sheena Fujibayashi was my very first cosplay, and I've since developed a Rita Mordio cosplay as a shout-out to Tales of Vesperia. I was thrilled that this year's Colossalcon in Sandusky, OH included two Tales of photoshoots for fans of the game to get together. I participated in the first shoot as Rita, and took photos at the second (since I was in my Code Geass Euphemia cosplay), and I'm thrilled to share them with my fellow fans! Click to enlarge!

Theme Spotlight: Karma

Whatever it is, the Tale Of series has it. Excellent theme songs, great games, enticing heroes, and non black-and-white villains. Tales of the Abyss once again hits a high note with their anime opening 'Karma' sung by Bump of Chicken, a group with a folky twang a la Bob Dylan. It's such a special thing to see the characters you enjoy playing as on a console come to life and be brought into an episodic world complete with a boss soundtrack. This fangirl is hoping many of the newer Tales of Games will join titles like Abyss, Vesperia, Symphonia, Phantasia, etc and get their own series for us gamers to enjoy. And more great closing and opening themes to add to our playlists!!
