Though the boys of Big Bang love to party and have fun, nothing is more beautiful than when they hit a poignant, softer moment with their music. "Monster" is a painfully gorgeous love song about struggling to be with someone who is afraid of who you are, and can only look upon you with pity (think Phantom of the Opera and the relationship between Christine and Erik). Daesung and Taeyang deliver the chorus with pure and breathtaking emotion, and for me, nothing can beat the low timbre of T.O.P.'s rapping (mai husbando!). The music video is also a visual pleasure, as always!
