Theme Spotlight: Ring a Bell/Kane wo Narashite

Sometimes JRPGs put just as much effort into their openings as anime series, and Namco Bandai's Tales of Vesperia is a shining example of a great intro into a game world. Popular j-pop singer Bonnie Pink provides vocals in her native language and English for the Japanese and North American releases, although, as usual, I think the Japanese version is somewhat stronger. In any case, the opening track 'Ring a Bell' is fun and energetic, a great showcase for the lovable heroes of the series Yuri, Estelle, Judith, Rita, Raven, Karol, and Repede (and occasionally Flynn). More games should take a page out of Tales of Vesperia's book and give the story a killer opening theme!

A great cast deserves the best, and the Tales of series never disappoints!
