Hooray for Maaya Sakamoto! Not only is she responsible for some of my Tsubasa favorites ('Loop,' 'Kazemachi Jet,' and 'Sonic Boom'), but she's also the vocalist behind the adorable opening theme to Kobato, 'Magic Number'. Though she is perfectly capable of being serious, this song embraces all of the cuteness and fresh innocence of the title character and is very playful and light. It makes me glad she's an old standby for CLAMP anime, and I hope they will utilize her excellent vocals again in the future. Even Ioryogi would have to smile along to this one!
