Ah, the cock-block song. When you hear these notes in the first few episodes of Gravitation, you can be sure Shuichi and Yuki are kissing and/or having sex, and the credits are about to cut them short, forcing you to scream in frustration and chuck the nearest object at the TV screen while screaming, "COME ON, JUST LET ME SEE IT ALREADY!" I was tempted to hate this song for its kiss-interrupting tendencies, but it's just... so good. Kotani Kinya really does a excellent job with the songs he provides for Shuichi's fictional band 'Bad Luck,' and the Gravitation Vocal Collection is among my favorite anime soundtracks of all time. 'Glaring Dream' in particular is an excellent pop ballad that gives Shuichi a rare chance to be serious after his crazy antics in each episode. So even though it cuts all the juicy scenes short, I'm afraid I'll have to forgive this song for now... it's a very good consolation prize :)
