The Natsume Yuujinchou series has its share of beautiful themes, especially with one of my favorite male Japanese vocalists Kita Shuuhei providing "Issei no sei" for the first season. But out of all the themes, "Boku ni Dekiru Koto" by HOW MERRY MARRY is my number one pick. Not only does it go excellently with the sentimental overtones of the opening video, but it is one of the standout tracks from a band that has no longer been active in Japan since 2012. It's disappointing that HOW MERRY MARRY was unable to fully realize their career, but I am so happy that this song was chosen for Natsume, which thrives on the viewers having their heartstrings plucked in a similar manner to how "Boku ni Dekiru Koto" was able to do for me.
