Japanese singer YUI has one of the cutest voices of J-pop, as well as some of the best songs out there. Although she's just announced she's going on hiatus, she's left us plenty of great music to listen to until she comes back on the scene. Bleach fans are probably familiar with her tracks "LIFE" and "Rolling Star," but my personal favorite is "feel my soul" from her album FROM ME TO YOU. The chorus is one of her strongest and showcases her vocals spectacularly, though, as always, her true strength is in how understated and simplistic she is. She will be missed during her hiatus, and I look forward to whatever music she will release when she comes back!
